Long-COVID SUPPORT & PROCESSING GROUP

Long-COVID is the umbrella term for wide range of symptoms that occur after an initial COVID infection and can linger for weeks, months, or years.

Some common symptoms of Long-COVID include but aren’t limited to:

  • cognitive impairments (i.e. brain fog; word finding problems; etc)

  • migraines

  • POTS

  • chronic fatigue

  • chronic pain

  • breathing difficulties

  • gastrointestinal issues

As a relatively new chronic illness, Long-COVID is largely misunderstood by both medical providers and loved ones.

This group meets weekly and is a mix of a support and processing group, meaning you get support from fellow long-haulers and I as the moderator of the group assist in processing grief, loss of identity, frustrations with loved ones who don't understand, advocating for yourself in the medical system, etc. Many people attend weekly, meaning you get to know each other, and get to follow each other’s journeys.
