Cancer
Cancer is about more than just your physical health. Your once-clear plan for the future is now unknown. You may be feeling disconnected in your relationships, behind in your career, or struggling with fertility due to treatment, in addition to the medical stress. Having cancer is a full-time job, and you need support.
Or, now that you are done with treatment, your loved ones expect you to go “back to normal” when you are mentally feeling worse. You are tired of feeling this way, and may feel that the people in your life don’t understand what you are going through. You want to feel in control of your own life again.
As both a cancer survivor and licensed clinical therapist, I work with you to create a customized plan to get you living a full and meaningful life. You have lived through and survived so much already, and you bring strengths you have already learned into our work together. Together, we will work through the changes to your identity that cancer has caused, process your grief, and finding meaning in spite of this life-changing diagnosis.
